Orange Deed Data Shows Sparse Pricing as Most August Sales Go Undisclosed

Franklin County Registry of Deeds recorded 12 property transfers in Orange between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only three listed a sale price, ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 with a median of $100,000. The top disclosed sales were 76 Harrison Ave. and 65 Prentiss St., which each sold for $100,000, both to a bank or credit union. Nine of the 12 recorded deeds, including transfers involving mortgage servicers and the Orange Town Treasurer, carried no disclosed price. With most transactions unpriced, the available data does not support a clear read on overall market direction this period.
